WHY BARELY JUNE?

Every day is a cause for celebration, and the beauty lies in the small, meaningful moments. This philosophy guides my approach to design and the curated items in my shop. Each piece, durable and versatile, is suitable for both special occasions and everyday use.

Life is a series of choices, and routines need not be mundane. Afew years ago, a profound loss brought my world to a standstill, shattering the foundation of everything I thought I knew about life. During this challenging time, an older friend visited and, after a heartfelt conversation, shared a perspective-shifting insight: “Imagine your life as a whole year. You’re barely in June, yet you’re so fixated on Christmas that you risk missing out on the joys of summer.” These words transformed my outlook.

When naming my company, I sought a moniker that held personal significance while exuding positivity and inspiration. That’s how Barely June emerged.

Enhancing routine moments doesn’t require much effort; sometimes, the simplest changes yield the most significant differences.

We source materials locally whenever possible to minimize our carbon footprint. From fabrics obtained from nearby factories to in-house production, wrapping, and shipping, we eliminate unnecessary logistics, striving for a greener, more responsible footprint.

Materials: The foundation of our products lies in conscientious material choices. We exclusively source Oeko-Tex® 100 and European Flax® certified fabrics. Even our labels, packaging, and shipping materials are crafted from recycled paper, with printing processes designed to be earth-friendly. We believe in the power of sustainable materials, ensuring that every aspect of our products aligns with our commitment to environmental responsibility.
